Part One: Normal Speech and Language Development

A presentation and discussion with speech-language pathologists for parents and families.
The goal of this event is to provide members of the community information about the normal
course of language and speech acquisition. A question and answer session will be included
with refreshments. Part one of a series.

August 2nd and 5th, 2024: Global Speech & Hearing Inc. was honored to meet with Dr. Henry Nii Odai Annang, Director of Presbytery Medical Center Nungua Zimmerman, Dr. Unito Atsu Afedo, Director of Ablade Medical Center, and
Dr. Neal Boafo, Audiologist at Speech, Hearing, & Therapy Centre. The purpose of the meeting was to collaborate with them to bring a speech and hearing program to Ghana.
Global Speech & Hearing Inc. along with Womba Africa Drumming and Dance invite you to a fundraising event to support hearing screenings in Ghana, West Africa. The event will include a drumming workshop and performance by Womba Africa Drumming, raffles from Bruegger’s Bagels, The Village Bakery & Cafe, Dinosaur Barbecue, Amico Pizza, and several others, as well hand-made jewelry from Ghana for purchase. The event will be held on Saturday, February 1st, 2025 at Lovin’ Cup, 300 Park Point Dr., Rochester, NY 14623. Tickets can be purchased using the button below:
